Kinimori

[ki ni mo ri]

‘Ki ni mo ri’ means ‘What I see’ or ‘What I saw’ in Yoruba, the language of the Yoruba people of West Africa.

I am Yoruba and a UK national. I like to think of myself as a bit of a ‘world citizen’ too. The Yoruba cultural heritage endures in parts of West Africa and diaspora, with people of Yoruba descent scattered across the globe. I have lived in 3 countries and have done a spot of travelling. I have a great deal more travelling to do.

Kinimori shines a light on some of what I see of our world, through my unique lenses (note plural), and lets you shine your unique light right back, sharing what you see too.

I’ll keep you posted throughout my journey, sharing my love of plants, nature, culture and all things creative.

I say a big ‘YES’ to the shared insight, knowledge, motivation and action becoming a force for good, even on the smallest scale.

So, vamonos! Let’s go!
